About Roo

Roo is a neutered male German Shorthaired Pointer. He is an incredibly sweet and affectionate boy who loves to be with his people. You can't help but smile when Roo's around and he has kept us laughing at his antics while fostering him. He is happiest when running at full tilt or when snuggled into you lap once his wiggles are out. He has some upland bird hunting training and has mastered 'here' and 'whoa' (along with 'sit' and other household commands) and is crate trained. With some additional work, he will be a great hunting companion in addition to a beloved family member. He is good with older kids but his energy level might be too much for toddlers. Roo will do best as an only dog in an active family.
