About Kedzie

Kedzie joined our rescue at 6 months of age in 2013. He was returned to our rescue in September. His adoptive family could no longer keep him due to the youngest in the family developing allergies as well as their work schedules.Kedzie's foster mama has been working hard to help him adjust to the changes so that he feels safe and wanted. We have learned that he gets along with dogs of all sizes and personalities as long as they give him cues that his presence is welcome.He has done very well learning commands and responds well on and off leash. He is extremely smart and needs to be mentally challenged and exercised. Activity and engagement have made a world of difference for Kedzie. He is calmer and less anxious than when he was returned to us. He is doing incredibly well crated when left unsupervised and his people are away.He has lived with children all of his life. Kedzie is a cuddler. He truly wants to please. He would do best with an active family with an easy going/ non dominant dog to keep him company.
