About Jewel and Treasure

She is a little bit Country, and she is s a little bit Rock 'n Roll! And they are a little bit Maine coon, too! This mother/daughter duo is sure to warm your heart. Jewel was practically a kitten herself when she prematurely delivered a stillborn kitten behind a very surprised foster moms couch. No one knew she was pregnant at the time �'�| and she had another surprise who was refusing to budge �'�| so off to emergency surgery Jewel went. Soon after being retrieved and revived thanks to DAWS' awesome vet team, little Treasure came into the world with a rebel yell and a strong will to survive! She has grown from a preemie into a playful, thriving kitten, who has not only a mom - but her best friend, too! These two gals are inseparable and are a package deal. Treasure is a precocious girl who wants to check everything out, and Mom is more laid back and a bit timid but just give her a little time and she will snuggle right up.
