About Teddy

Hi, I'm Teddy! I'm a 3 and a half-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier and Labrador mix. As you've guessed from my name, I'm a big Teddy bear. The humans say that I'm a doll, very affectionate, great natured, always smiling, and just appreciative of any attention. I absolutely love to be outside, going for walks and all of our volunteers say they've fallen in love with me. I was rescued from a high kill shelter in Hesperia where I was on the euthanasia list. My foster mom says that I am very smart, completely housebroken, know my basic commands, and love car rides. I do tend to get protective of my loved ones, but that is something I'm working on. I would do better in a quiet home with no kids and best as an only dog at this point in my life. I don't like to be left alone for long periods of time, so I would do best if I have a parent that works from home. I'm so ready to find my fur-ever family that takes me on big adventures.
