About Whiskey

MEET WHISKEY! This gorgeous 11 month old Dutch Shepherd girl comes to us from the Forsyth County Animal Shelter. Whiskey was found as a stray and it is obvious that she was not treated well in her previous life. She is very shy and timid around people, requiring patience to gain her trust. Whiskey blossoms around other dogs and you can see that she gains confidence from them. Since being here at the rescue, she has made great progress with learning to touch. Whiskey does well with kids and seems to trust them faster than adults. She does well in a car and as she is learning to trust, is improving on her leash skills. Whiskey is up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative, microchipped, spayed, and on flea/tick/heart worm preventatives.
