About River

River is an energetic 7-year old PWD who has lived with us for the past year. He is sweet, loyal and eager to please, but is increasingly exhibiting aggressive behavior with resource guarding and becomes anxious when home alone. Unfortunately my work schedule changed shortly after we adopted River and he is now home alone most of the day, which is not ideal for a breed that requires constant mental stimulation and physical exercise. River needs dominant humans, ideally owners who have experience with dogs with behavior issues and have the time to focus on addressing his aggressive behavior. He is very high energy and will do best with an owner who is able to provide the physical and mental stimulation he needs.
