About Rose

Rose Female About 6 years old Pit bull type dog House trained Crate trained Walks well on a leash Knows all of her basic commands and some advanced commands Great with other dogs Cannot live in a home with cats or other small animals Needs and adult home or one with children 16 years old or older Rose came into the rescue right after Thanksgiving after having spent 4-1/2 very long years at Waterbury Dog Pound. Once in the rescue, she went to live with our trainer, and we discovered that Rose is a sweet, lovable, funny, cuddle-bug. She gains confidence from other dogs and we would like to see her in a home with at least one other dog. We are totally committed to making sure that Rose lives the rest of her life happy, loved, safe, and secure. She would love a family where someone is home a good deal of the time - if you work from home or are a retired person/couple, that would be a perfect match for Rose.
