**Nano is a sweet dog to the people he knows. He has already had professional training. I will not adopt him out unless the adopter has professional K9 experience (Military or Police K9 Training/Handling as an example) He is NOT a good candidate for a 1st time dog owner or a novice.** Meet Nano! This guy has had a rough start at life... & a rough middle too :( He was originally found without parents at 3/4 weeks old with his siblings. All the puppies came to us at 5 weeks old. He was quickly adopted once of age around 9/10 weeks old. There were several times his adopters had reached out to us for help or to return the dog... But sadly they never followed through with our training referrals OR returning him to us. Long story short they eventually surrendered him to a kill shelter where we got the call thanks to his microchip. Nano has been making huge strides with us as he went immediately into a board & train program. He is doing amazing with commands & doing lots of confidence building exercises. He will need a very confident adopter willing to follow through with his training so he can continue to improve. An adopter familiar with working breeds (cattle dogs, dutch shepherds, or malinois dogs) would be preferred. He is about 50 lbs. He is dog friendly. He did grow up with kids but due to his fear we are going to say no kids for now. He would love an active home that wants to work & have fun with their dog! His adoption fee is $150. This fee will go straight to the purchase of an ecollar with his dog trainer. He will not go home without one & you will be trained how to use it & continue with his training & commands. He is neutered, vaccinated & microchipped. Let us know if you're interested!
