SAY HELLO TO GIGI! Gigi is a wonderful little 8 to 10 year old purebred Shih Tzu girl. Weighing in at 12 pounds, this little lady will be a delight to your family! Gigi came to us a stray with some medical issues, likely why her owners never came forward to claim her. Gigi had major mammary tumor removal, removing the better part of both chains. She had badly neglected teeth, so she has had a professional dental with numerous extractions. All of her bloodwork came back normal. Gigi is a darling Shih Tzu who will make a great addition to any home. She does well with other dogs or is fine by herself. She is quiet, not a barker, walks beautifully on a leash and rides quietly in a car. Gigi has not been tested with kids, so families of adults or adults with kids over the age of 11 that have experience with small dogs like Gigi will be considered. Miss Gigi is polite and cute and a very easy keeper. She was very poorly cared for by her former owners and deserves to live out her golden years with all of the love and care a new owner can offer her. Gigi is a longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Gigi's adoption fee is $ 375.00 This fee includes her Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, her spay, lab work, professional dental cleaning with several tooth extractions, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Gigi will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free kibble that she has been eating.
