SAY HELLO TO ISABEL! Isabel is an adorable 2 year old Shih Tzu / Maltese girl. Weighing in at 12 pounds, Isabel is a really sweet little girl. Isabel was surrendered to our rescue by a third party who Isabel was given to by her owners. We do not have a whole lot of history other than Isabel was pregnant and they did not want to 'deal with newborn puppies'. Isabel is sweet and endearing. She is active but by no means hyper. She is somewhat shy at first but warms up quickly. Isabel is leash trained and greets everyone that she meets very nicely. She is not quite housetrained but with consistent gentle patience and guidance, Isabel will learn easily. Isabel rides politely in the car and would thrive with a family od adults or adults with children over the age of 8 that have experience, respect and gentle hands with small breeds like Isabel. Isabel is a longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Isabel's adoption fee is $ 450.00 This fee includes her Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, her spay, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Isabel will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free food that she has been eating.
