Her owner's daughter reached out to us as her mother is no longer able to care for Rosie, and she is unable to keep Rosie due to restrictions where she lives. Name: Rosie Age: 11 years Breed: Blue Heeler Sex: Female (confirmed spayed) Location: Dallas County, TX Vet Info: Rosie is confirmed spayed and heartworm negative, and has just received the Lepto vaccine. She is also confirmed up to date on her rabies vaccine and is next due 1/6/2021. Rosie weighs about 45 pounds. Owner Info: Rosie is a gorgeous girl who is in need of rescue / a new home. Rosie is completely blind in her left eye and has limited vision in her right. Her owner is not sure of the cause of her blindness. Other than her vision, Rosie's owner tells us she is very healthy. Rosie is an indoor dog confined to one area of the house. She is housebroken and leash trained. Rosie even knows some commands - Sit, Leave It (somewhat), and Go Potty! Rosie is good with men and women, but prefers male dogs. Her owner gave us more information: 'she is aggressive towards my daughter's female dachshund....she get along great with my two males.' Rosie is not possessive of toys, treats, or food. Rosie may have some difficulty adjusting to a new situation. Her owner writes, 'she runs into things both in her familiar environment and when in a different place.' Rosie's owner wants us to know what a sweet girl she is!
