SEEKING AN ADOPTER FOR BISCUIT! Biscuit is believed to be 8-9 yrs old; a Beagle/Chi/Doxie Mix who was brought into the South Central LA shelter as a stray. She had a fractured pelvis, could not use her back legs, had bruising and a grapefruit size hernia on her small body. The shelter removed the hernia - tucking the intestines and bladder back where they should be and sadly her fractured pelvis healed in the shelter and although she has regained full mobility of her back legs, her tail is partially paralyzed (does not interfere with pottying). Working with Biscuit will be a must for anyone willing to open their homes and their hearts to this neglected senior. We have consulted with an orthopedic surgeon who indicated that the fracture has healed and to leave it alone. Laser surgery and acupuncture have been recommended as well for her for inflammation. We recommend a home with children 13 yrs or older, perhaps a stay at home mom or a retired person or couple would be ideal! Biscuit is very sweet and loving. If you truly want to make a difference in a rescue dogs life, Biscuit is your girl! PTR Adoption Application: https://pawsitivetailstoremember.forms-db.com/view.php?id=17980
