About Faith

Hi! I'm Faith. I'm a recently spayed little girl about 1 �%BD years old. I weigh around 9 pounds, so I'm small. My foster Mom found me abandoned with my friend Tobi, another K-9 Angel. The two of us are currently staying with my foster and her other three rescues- so I get along great with other dogs. I love playing with other dogs in the backyard, but I AM an indoor dog. I get attached qui ckly so be prepared that I will love sleeping under the covers with you and as you can see in my pictures I love snuggling up next to or on you. I really love to be petted and loved on! My foster Mom works so someone is coming midday to let me out to potty. I have not stayed in a crate yet so not sure about that. I've been so good and no accidents. I am not destructive, but I do love my chew toys. At the vet when I got a shot AND my nails cut they said I did absolutely GREAT! I do bark sometimes when I hear someone knock or noise in the back yard, but I settle down pretty quickly. After breakfast and a zip around the backyard I am ready for a nap. Although Faith is only about 1 1/2 years old with lots of energy, she is also 'chill' sitting on my Mom's lap. Mom has Alzheimer and loved a visit from sweet Faith. This cute 9 pound pup gets along great with other dogs and loves people. I don't need grooming other than a bath and teeth brushing but will need my nails clipped occasionally. My Foster Mom says I'm one of the sweetest pup she knows and I am cute as can be. Would you like to give me a loving home? I promise I will love you back sooooooooooooooo much! PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
