Date into Rescue: Originally 5/2012; Adopted and returned to CPR in 10/2018 Reason for being in rescue: Owner release Special Needs: Sonny prefers a quiet home with someone that understands boy dogs need to wear belly bands while they work on potty training! What kind of home would be best for me: Sonny wants to be the only dog in a home that loves and understands the cocker spaniel breed. He is a quiet boy who craves attention. Sonny is also working on potty training and needs a home that will work with him on a schedule and is okay with wearing belly bands. What is my personality like: Sonny was found as a stray in York County along with another cocker spaniel, Ruby, who we think is his mother. He likes to play with his friends and loves to hang out in his cottage. Sonny likes to be treated special, without the company of a pack. If there is any importance to fetch, roll over, or shake, Sonny is not your guy. He wants to please. He's so very happy to be recognized. Sonny needs and craves attention. How do I act when I first meet new people: I'm friendly, especially if you have treats! Tips and Tidbits: House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
