About BEAU-BEAU

Adoption Fee: $400.00
Lab / White Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

*** IN 'FOSTER-TO-ADOPT PROGRAM *** 'BEAU-BEAU' is an incredibly adorable, 2 yr old, 38-40 lb., 'Dudley' Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix (w/ white Shepherd?) male we rescued, along with his sister 'Annabelle', from a very high kill pound. (A 'Dudley' Labrador Retriever is identifiable by it's pale eyes & pink nose). 'Hi, my name is Beau-Beau. I am a sweet, affectionate, smart, curious & gentle boy. I am not initially as outgoing as my sister and can hang back, being a bit shy. (she is so brave!) When I came to my foster family, I was considered feral by most humans. With a lot of patience and perseverance, my foster family has loved me and worked with me, and now I am a happy boy! I am kennel trained. I have learned several new tricks. I know how to sit, shake and lay down. I usually walk well on a leash except in the morning when I really need to go outside to use the bathroom! I have a lot of energy in the morning. I get along pretty well with other dogs and love to play with them, though some male dogs frighten me. I love playing with my sister. I am very curious about cats and chickens, but I really haven't had an opportunity to play with them. I would love to go to a forever family with children. I love to play with my foster kids. They are so much fun!! I like car rides but not nearly as much as my sister Annabelle. If I could choose, I would like a fenced in back yard too! I enjoy running and playing!' Beau-Beau (and his sister) had sensitive skin prone to allergies due to a compromised & naive immune system, which is now almost totally cleared up after rounds of antibiotics, a change in diet, supplements and daily washing of the affected areas. Beau-Beau has been de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. Beau-Beau is not yet 'neutered' but now that his allergies are cleared up, will be soon. This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots. All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
