About Pearl

It's a FRENCHIE! Sweet Pearl is a 5-7 year old, 13 pound French Bulldog who was owner surrendered to us. She is a gentle girl who quickly learned the doggy door and goes outside to potty. She sleeps snuggled up in a dog bed next to the big bed and is good with other dogs and older kids but she has not been tested with cats. Sadly, Pearl was kept in a crate all of her short life without receiving much attention until she came to us. She is learning to accept being touched and snuggled and loved and seems to be enjoying the good life! We really don't want to see her crated again for any length of time as she has lived that life already and she doesn't get into any mischief when left alone, so there's no need for it. Pearl is also learning to be a dog and recently picked up a squeaky toy to play for the first time. We are sure with love and affection she will let her personality shine in no time. Pearl did come to us with a bad flea infestation and bites and sores from scratching all over her body but, with regular medicated baths 2-3 times a week and rubdowns with coconut oil, her skin is healing nicely and she loves her massage! It's been a great way to show her positive attention and a loving touch. Pearl has had all of her shots, is heartworm negative, and has been microchipped. She has an appointment set for her spay and a dental this week. All this lovely girl needs now is for some lucky person to come take her home and love on her furever! Is that you?
