About Pasha

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Pasha. P-layful, A-lert, S-punky, H-appy, A-ffectionate. Pasha loves people and always wants to be beside someone. She sat right in between my son's feet on the drive home, she sits next to him on the couch, and won't sit in a room alone. When it's playtime, she loves gently chasing my kids around the house and giving them sweet kisses. She isn't t oo intrusive or rough with them like a lot of young dogs tend to be. She gives them their space and when they show affection towards her, she returns it. Maybe it's the cold weather, but Pasha seems to be a homebody, always sitting by the door rather than exploring the backyard. Nature seems to have blessed her with a good amount of canine instincts because she barked at and pulled towards a neighborhood cat during our walk. Speaking of barking, she does great alerting us when she thinks someone is at the door. But worry not, she only barks to certain noises. She seems brave in that sense, but can also be timid in startling situations. In other words, she is tough, but also has a sensitive side. After the kids are asleep, she snuggles up with me on the couch. After cuddles, she does fine in her crate throughout the night. She isn't house trained just quite yet, but will figure it out soon. Pasha is a Female Terrier Mix that we estimate to be born around 8/15/2018 and currently weighs 9 lbs. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
