SAY HELLO TO PINTO ! Pinto is an adorable one year old Shih Tzu Poodle mix boy. Weighing in at just 11 pounds, this white and golden coated boy is simply the best. Pinto is adorable, playful and sweet. He is a little shy initially but once he has met you he will be a best friend! He is great with all of his foster mates and just loves meeting new furry friends. Pinto is leash trained and LOVES going on walks with you. He rides very quietly in the car as he takes in all the sights, sounds and smells. He also likes to cuddle up and sleep in bed with you. Pinto is a playful guy once he gets to know you. He has not been tested with young kids, but think he would do well with kids older than 11 with dog experience and gentle hands would be great. Pinto has no issues being crated and seems to be house trained. Like all rescues, he will need gentle guidance and patience as he learns his new family's routine. He would also thrive with another small dog of like size and personality for companionship. Pinto is a longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Pinto's adoption fee is $450.00 This fee includes his Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, his neuter, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Pinto will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free kibble that he has been eating. His adoption fee also allows us the ability to put funds towards the next little one in need of rescue!
