About Bear

Bear is a special white/red Pit mix - Why is Bear so special? Bear was part of a shipment of dogs brought to the US in early 2018 from Puerto Rico after the storms of 2017. They only rescue and ship the best dogs. Bear is neutered, chipped and is up to date on shots. I rescued Bear from the Humane Society in June of 2018. Bear is head shy at first and very protective of his people, but great with big dogs and kids. Bear sleeps under the covers with my 7 year old at night, he is a big snuggler. Bear has great manners and a little training. He responds to sit, stay, down. Leave it and a few other commands. In the 7 months I have had Bear he has never had an accident in the house. Bear loves walks, ice cubes and playing in the snow. Bear needs lots of exercise and due to my new schedule I can't give him all the exercise he needs. Bear has been known to get into the garbage when left alone and should NOT be placed in a home with a cat.
