UPDATE: I spoke to another vet for a second opinion, this vet thinks Em-Dash has 'Pandora Syndrome' and you can google it or read more about this here: https://todaysveterinarypractice.com/feline-medicine-pandora-syndrome-in-cats-diagnosis-and-treatment/ and I do think that this is very possible because there have been many stress events in my household in the last two years. I am going to take him to get new Rx and see if that helps, but I'm still seeking a calmer household for him. I only want what is best for him since has been in my family since he was about one year old. He is a lovely tortie, very mellow but an alpha. He can't get along with other cats (and bosses my dog around too). His anxiety about being the only cat in charge means he inappropriately eliminates and I just cannot deal with him anymore. I love him but I've reached my wits end and the end of my pocketbook (I've had him physically checked out multiple times and his health is fine, so it's definitely a psychological issue. I'm hoping that another environment where he is doted on and is the only cat will ease his mind and this is better than having him euthanized? I just need to rehouse him. If you end up not getting along or he is not as loving as I'm saying I will take him back. I do love him. I want what's best for him. Write me and I'll tell you anything you want to know.
