About General Jake

Jake is my 2nd purebred Bichon Frise. He was 8 years old 9/16/18, still has lots of energy, loves to play and take walks, is happy all the time, loves to eat but mainly wants to be held and petted. Bichons do not shed but do get hot spots and Jake, like all of them do, will bite and chew on a hot spot until it is doctored and gotten under control. We do have him on allergy meds which has helped a lot. The reason Jake needs to find a new loving and very caring home is my serious lung and breathing issues. I am not allergic to Jake but he brings in from outside the normal nature things I am allergic to. My husband and I have wrestled with the decision on finding another home for Jake or caring for my health for over a year. Finally decided if we can find a good home for him that is the right thing to do . He has a large crate, toys and sleeping pad.
