About Charlie

Charlie is a 45lb cocker King Charles mix. He's incredibly sweet and does well around my newborn and 9year old daughters. He thinks he's a lap dog, which can be overwhelming because of his size! He loves to play fetch and swim. Does great off leash (always comes when called), and does fairly well on leash, except for some pulling when leash is first put on. We are rehoming because of travel. I spend about 1/3 or more of my time out of state. Charlie spent about a week with a potential adopter, but had an issue with one of her dogs. So, we learned that Charlie might do better in a home where he is the only dog, or is able to be alpha dog. He's always been so sweet to visiting pups, and pups at dog parks. But a new home is a new dynamic and we hope to find something suitable for him.
