About Toozya

Toozya, the 6 yr old Terrier mix came into our care in 2018 and is still looking for her forever home. Toozya is a very well behaved and sweet girl. She has never had much socialization before coming to us. When we first met Toozya, she was so afraid of strangers and didn't know how to properly introduce herself. Therefore, if in a public setting, or when meeting new people, she's still very nervous at first. There's a good chance that she'll even growl or bark for awhile because of being scared. Once she trusts you and bonds with you, she's the most wonderful, little dog. She just needs someone to give her the proper amount of time to decompress. She will come around to strangers, as long as things are on her terms. Toozya is good with other dogs and cats, with proper introduction of course. She'd love to be the only pet in the home though, so she can be the center of your world. She needs a quiet environment WITHOUT young children, so she can continue to work on coming out of her shell. She is housebroken/crate trained. Toozya is spayed, and is completely UTD on vaccinations, and microchipped. We know she'll make a perfect companion for someone, as she still has many years of love to give! Her adoption fee is $350 with an approved application (along with the fee towards mileage for any home visit/possible adoption). There is more information on the adoption application.
