About FOXY

Are you someone that enjoys hiking? Here is your best friend to go with. He can jump, climb and go with the best. He is probably a terrier/chihuahua/shiba inu mix. We are guessing of course. He weighs 20 lbs. Vet thinks he is 3 yrs old. Foxy was a stray that hung around our neighborhood for 3-4 weeks before we figured he was either dumped or jumped a fence and left to go get a better human. See, we can tell that Foxy didn't get much attention by the timidness he endures when he is inside a house....like he has never heard a chair slide away from the table, or drawers opening etc., those things were all new to him.(UPDATE: he is doing great and not skittish any longer.It took him 1 week to see that he was safe in the Foster home. There was another way to tell that he was a backyard dog, and that is because when I left him in my home, he jumped up on our secretary and laid there like that was a normal place to lay. This boy can launch the highest of things, and REALLY wants to be with his owner 24/7. He has mastered potty outside and will use a doggy door now. Here is what he is ALL about: LOVING, and a LOYAL DOG that does wonderful around all dogs he has encountered while running the streets, and since he has met my 4 girls. Dogs walk by my house and he just lays and looks at them. Cats not so sure, but I know he chased one off my porch, and then stopped after it left my driveway. NOT a barker...in fact, he barked for the 1st time when the garbage truck went in our alley. cuddle boy, gentle with his paws and when he eats he is not one to gobble it up quickly. Loves a car ride. You can sit outside and know that this loyal boy will be right there and won't leave your side. When you come home from being away, he will greet you with a waggy bottom and tail will be waving. He has a cute lil snaggle-puss lip that goes up in excitement to see you! He is neutered with tattoo, Rabies shot, DHPP, Bordetella, Leptospirosis shot and Microchipped. Once an application is recieved, it will go in that dogs file for review.
