Lily is a two-year-old PWD who was attacked by her mother when she was just a few days old. This resulted in her losing the ability to open her right eye along with an unknown level of brain damage. She is extremely smart and trainable, however, she has shown many signs of fear aggression. Because of this, she is on a handful of medications which held with anxiety and pain. We would love to keep her and are extremely sad we are in this position, but we are expecting our first child and Lily is a danger to children. 75% of the time she is the sweetest, funniest little girl with the biggest personality that will make you laugh nonstop, but she has her moments where she will bite out of fear. She has broken skin, but nothing serious. She also doesn't do well with other dogs inside, so she needs to go to a home that doesn't have any animals. She is in need of a loving home with dominant humans, (preferably dog people who have experience with dogs with behavior issues), NO KIDS, NO OTHER PETS, few visitors and a fenced in yard. She loves to play fetch and will swim for hours in open water or the pool. She does wonderfully at dog parks, but is unpredictable with dogs inside or in enclosed areas. She is extremely friendly with other people and new strangers. She loves meeting new people! As I said, she is our baby and are devastated to have to do this but we just know she will be too unpredictable with a baby. She is on a few medications that run around $100 a month depending on where you get them filled. Every time she goes to the vet she has to be put to sleep otherwise she becomes aggressive out of fear. We are only looking for a home with NO KIDS and NO PETS!!!
