About Crispin

Ring the bells - Crispin is ready for adoption, and he's truly worth a celebration! Crispin is a 10 month old Labrador Retriever puppy who might have a little Chow Chow in him, too, based on his purple-spotted tongue. Crispin is a luscious guy with shiny black fur and a huge heart. He's affectionate, eager to please, and super fun - everything you want from a Lab pup! Crispin came to ACL from a high volume facility where he had been surrendered due to his owner's death. Despite his early tragedy, we know the rest of Crispin's life will be comedy! He's so fun! Crispin is almost totally housetrained, and he's eager to meet other dogs. He has a strong herding instinct - he even herds balls! - so he is not a good choice for homes with cats or small animals. Crispin could use some socialization with other dogs and some basic training, but he's super friendly and gentle. He'll make a great pet for a family with kids of any age.
