About Cassie

Sweet little Cassie is a darling little Yorkie mix who is 10 months old, and weighs 10 pounds. She came to our rescue from a hoarding situation with some other dogs. She loves to be petted and snuggled, but is also content to simply be beside her person. She interacts well with other dogs, and was not bothered by the resident cats at her foster home. She was in a foster home with several children and loved them. She is doing well on her housebreaking skills and can use puppy pads when inside if needed. Based on her previous life, we do not want her to go to a home where she would be in a crate with a closed door. She does not like it now that she has her new found freedom. She likes to sleep with her foster mom, but is also content with the couch or a doggy bed while home alone. Cassie enjoys being around other dogs, but mostly it is all about her person. Cassie is heartworm negative and microchipped. A loving, sweet tempered, and quiet little dog, Cassie is waiting for a home and just the right person to call her own.
