If you see the dog on Petfinder the dog is available. Gigi is a two year old high energy girl. She will play fetch until your arm falls off and will play with her foster sister for hours on end. They cuddle together and more often than not will get in the same kennel. She is a nuzzler and loves to cuddle in a blanket in the moments she is not playing. Gigi is a talker, if she wants your attention she will whine and talk to you until you give her what she wants. Gigi is not an alpha, but she is very stubborn and a diva. She knows sit, stay, come and give me your paw. Sit she will do most of the time, but the others really only if you have a treat. She wants everything on her terms which is the diva in her. Gigi respects the alpha dog in the house and does not challenge her for that role. Gigi does not seem to have the same respect for humans being the ultimate alpha or in charge. She needs loving discipline and a person who won't let her be the boss. If Gigi is cuddling with you on the couch and you go to move her she will growl at you when you go to move her. That's all she does, she's very vocal and is simply expressing her displeasure at being moved. Gigi really does not like the cooler weather. If the temp is below 55, if it's raining or the ground is wet it is a challenge to get her to go to the bathroom outside. She fully understand potty training and knows, as on nice days she uses the doggy door and goes outside. She needs to be kenneled when alone or she will have accidents. Gigi needs to be with someone who will be home more than not, or will take her everywhere with them. She needs a lot of play as there is no such thing as enough for her. She is fine with other dogs and I think she could wear out several other Bostons and keep going. She is a sweet girl that is really lovable despite her diva tendencies. She is not for a person who is getting their first dog because of how she wants to growl and scare them off. She needs to be with someone who is firm and loving.'
