Miss Ellie was found dumped on a dirt road in Mountain Home. She seemed to have had puppies recently. I fostered her for the shelter and volunteered to find her a home. Ellie is very quiet and low key. She is very sweet but it is obvious she was used for breeding for probably a backyard breeder. She seems to probably have been kept kenneled. We estimate her to be 5-6 years old. Ellie has opened up since being in our foster care. She has been around about 11 dogs ranging from small terrier mix to a Mastiff. She loved them all. She is initiating play and has discovered the ball. She loves exploring our back yard and rolling on the lawn. She really perks up when my great grandson visits. She wags her tail and follows him around. She loves attention and to just hang out with us. Ellie would be a great companion dog for a family and or senior person. She has shown no aggression. She will do fine as an only dog or a second dog. We had Ellie spayed and she seems to be in good health. If you would like to give Ellie a home, please contact me at 510-366-0588 or [email protected] We offer a two week sleepover to allow you time to make sure she is a good fit for your home. if she is not, we take her back and will return your adoption fee.
