About Jake

My name is Jake, and as you can see from my picture, I'm a handsome pure-bred MinPin with a beautiful red coat. My ears are cropped and my tail is docked. I have kinda long legs, and I could probably stand to gain a pound or two. I was found traipsing around in Tyler, Texas but likely belonged to someone. A nice lady rescued me off the streets but was not able to find my owner. She transferred me to IMPS and I've been in foster care for a couple weeks now. My first stop was a house with 10 other MinPins and I got along well with everyone. I'm a bit of a ladies man, but after a visit to the vet, that should not be an issue going forward. I am now staying with my foster dad, and there are two other MinPins that I'm hanging out with. I figured out the doggie door pretty quickly and I may even be housetrained. I'm a good boy and don't mind sleeping in a crate overnight without a peep, if I can't snuggle in the bed with you. I am definitely a lap dog, and like to be close to my human.
