About Stuart Little

Stuart Little is ready to find his forever home- could it be yours? He is guessed to be about 7-8 years old and weighs right at 5 lbs. He is a happy, friendly boy that likes playing with other dogs his size and loves to sit in your lap. He had a full dental procedure, which included removal of most of his teeth which were severely rotten. He may not have many teeth left, but he still eats just fine. He does have a bad knee, but he is still using it and he gets around well so we have elected not to do surgery at this point. Potential adopters should be prepared to provide him joint supplements and take measures to prevent him from jumping off of furniture. He was recently neutered so he still displays some marking behaviors, but he does well with wearing a belly band in the house and we hope over time that as the hormones subside and he is in a home with fewer dog this will subside. Stuart's adoption donation of $250 helps cover the cost of his care. Application, reference checks, and home visit required. Adopters must live 1.5 hours driving distance from Romeoville, IL.
