About Crouton

These cases never get easier for us at Southern Paws but we stay lighthearted because we know we can make a difference for dogs like this sweet boy here. I am so happy to introduce all of you to Crouton. This sweet beautiful boy is a 5 month old Catahoula Australian Shepherd Mix who has had chemicals poured on his back and head. We are not sure of the specifics as he was found with these burns but we are sure that they were inflicted intentionally and that these scars will probably stay with him forever. Do not let his past fool you though as he is one of the sweetest babies you have ever met. Even after everything he has been through he greeted rescuers with a tail wag and wet kisses. He loves to play and is great with people and other dogs. He loves people and enjoys spending his days romping and playing. He likes children and would love to have some siblings with 2 legs or 4. He loves to play with toys and go for long hikes. He is very high energy so an active family would be best for him. He follows you around and wants to be with you at all times! He is a great snuggler and loves to cuddle on the couch and watch tv too! He would make a great addition to just about any family!!
