Jordie is 6 years old. She is a beautiful and very healthy dog. She has always lived outside on our farm. It has always been hard for her to get along with other animals, but it is getting worse. She has always been very territorial of course, but usually only harms animals that come into her territory. She recently killed a week old lamb by reaching in and getting him. We are just not able to keep her anymore. She can be very sweet and obedient with adults and teenagers as long as no other animals are present. I would not feel comfortable putting her in a home with young children. She has been fine with our younger son since he's been about 8 years old. She is on-leash trained and will follow some commands off leash as well. She can spend 8-10 hours in a crate, and goes in willingly. In the winter, she spends very cold nights in a crate. I would love to see her placed in the right situation where she would get the love and attention she needs. It would be best if she has a good amount of outdoor space to get plenty of exercise. She is very smart, and I believe the right owner could train her to be a great dog. I put that she is up to date on vaccinations, because she has her annual appointment this month. I will keep that appointment and make sure gets all her shots.
