About Axel

Hi my name is Axel! I am being fostered by some nice humans right now. They give me a lot of exercise, love and of course food. But I really want a permanent home. I'm about 3.5 years old. I've had a couple of homes so far and everyone has loved me but no one has been able to give me what I need. I need so much exercise. You see, I'm smarter than the average dog and I get bored very easy. I need a job. I'm a herder! If I can't have a job, then I need to be your best friend, partner in crime, running buddy, and trail buddy. It would be amazing if you already had experience with an Australian Shepherd before! I am so friendly and get along with adults, kids, and other dogs. But really I just need to be your main squeeze. I will literally do anything you tell me to and can understand you when you just talk - no need to shout! I already know to go do my business outside and to only chew on my toys and bones. I also understand when you want me to come, sit, stay and more. Please contact my foster parents if you are interested in meeting me. Since I have already had a couple of go arounds with people who don't quite understand me please don't call unless you are interested in a life long permanent situation.
