About Scooby

'Scooby Dooby Doo, where are you?' I'm right here, living the good life with Sophia's Grace Foundation. My family gave me up because they could not care for me anymore and I was lucky enough to be sprung from the shelter by a rescuer and they sent me to my new foster home. There are lots of other dogs here, and the beds are soft, so I am very happy to be here and not at the shelter but what I really want is a new family of my own. I am very handsome and a very good boy (foster mom says so) and I would love to be YOUR good boy! Scooby is an 8 year old, neutered, miniature dachshund. He is very sweet and obedient (for a dachshund). He is heartworm negative and current on all vaccines. Scooby would do well in a home with other dogs and courteous children, but is untested with cats. Scooby is being fostered in Smithfield, VA.
