About Lizzie

Lizzie is part of a bonded pair of female dogs. She will only be adopted with Mei Mei . Lizzie is the older of the two dogs at 8 years old. She is a Poodle mix and weighs 20 pounds. The two dogs ended up in rescue after their previous owner passed away. Lizzie is the dominant of the two dogs, but loves Mei Mei. She might growl or nip protectively at other dogs, but redirects easily when corrected. Lizzie loves attention and wants your attention as much as possible. Both dogs will sit on your lap as much as they can. Both of the girls are very bonded to each other and are always together. They even run side by side in the yard. When they came into rescue they did not know how to do stairs, but they have learned in foster care. They are also learning to play with toys. They don't play with other dogs and stick to each other. Both dogs walk well on a leash and of course walk well together. They are also good passengers in the car so you can take them with you when it is possible. The girls like to sleep in bed with their people at night and nap on the couch during the day. Lizzie and Mei Mei are sweet and cuddly girls who love all humans and freely give kisses. Both dogs are housetrained and have not had any accidents. Lizzie is current on vaccinations, spayed, heartworm tested and microchipped. She also recently had her teeth cleaned.
