About Frijoles

Urgent! Frijoles needs a foster so his life will be spared. He is at a high kill shelter that is full and dogs are being killed. Frijoles is affectionate, gentle, easy to handle and very smart. He knows give both paws, sit, stay, and go down. He is very attentive to his handler - looking at the volunteer like he really knew what saying and wanting to reply. He loves to be pet and when the volunteer stopped petting him he'd nudge the arm to keep going. He was nonreactive to the barking dogs when walking in the pavillion. He is being treated for heart worm and needs to be crated or quiet while he is receiving treatment. Please save his life before it's too late. Fostering is free of charge and everything is provided within a 90 mile radius of Chicago. Volunteers are willing to help with transport
