About Cockatiel

Kiwi is a pearl female cockatiel, at least 6 years old. Her owners had to downsize when they combined households and just couldn't find a spare corner for Kiwi. She hasn't been handled much, but hopefully will tame down with some time and loving attention. Our birds are not available for breeding and we do not ship birds, so you must travel to our south Kansas City area facility. Potential adopters must call 816-356-4700 for an appointment, and must fill out an adoption application and pass a screening interview to ensure that our birds are going to a safe home. There is usually a 48 hour waiting period after your interview before you are allowed to adopt because we want people to take time and think thru their decision. Adoption fee for this bird is $20
