Meet Ray, a purebred, 2 year old, Black Lab, and his brother, Buster, a 12 year old, male, Shih Tzu mix, who are currently at the high kill Carson Shelter, after their owner could no longer care for them because they were moving. Even though Ray and Buster are two different breeds, they have been together for a long time and thus are very bonded. As a result, we are looking for someone you can take both of them either temporarily (fostering) and or permanently (adopting). The main thing is that we need them to stay together because right now they are separated at the shelter and are miserable. Because of this, they are also at high risk for being adopted into separate homes and never seeing each other again. We cannot let this happen to these poor bonded brothers. They have lost everything, except for each other, and now they are about to lose each other too. A foster (temporary home) and or adopter (permanent home) and or would save their lives and they would be so happy if they could stay together. Fostering is free as the rescue provides all of the necessities while the dog is in foster care such as paying for medical expenses, food and grooming. If your or someone you know is interested in fostering and or adopting these adorable, bonded brothers, please send a message to the email listed below or call/text the number listed below. Thank you!
