About Taffy

Welcome Taffy. She is a 6-month-old Rat Terrier. She was from a home that the owner died. These pups survived 3 weeks before anyone found them. She and her siblings are all alive, happy and ready to find their forever home. They appear to be pure bred pups. Taffy has a wirey coat but it is still very soft and she weighs about 9 pounds. She loves other dogs and will do well with another dog. She is a tiny girl and mom is about 12 pounds so these pups should be the same size. Candy is very very sweet and loyal even though a little shy at first. She is very affectionate and responds to being touched and likes to be held. She is a tiny dog and would be easy pickens for a hawk or coyote so supervised outdoors and mostly indoors is our preference for her home. She could have a smaller yard as she only requires moderate activity. She is a lap girl but is also puppy playful. She will make some lucky family a great companion. Due to her small size we would like kids to be over 7 so as they are old enough not to hurt her unintentionally. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or delivered to the East or the West Coast.
