GOOD IN A HOME WITH Cats. PREFERS A HOME WITHOUT Children. Meet Ivy Ivy is an 8 year old female who weighs 74lbs. She is a big girl who is looking forward to being someone's loyal companion. Ivy has been very well-socialized and if you're looking for a guard dog, look elsewhere. Ivy is a friend to all she meets and loves nothing more than a good belly rub and a snuggle. One of her favorite things to do is walk up behind you and come between your legs for a hug and some playtime! Ivy has lived with cats and another dog, but hasn't been exposed to many other dogs. It can take her some time to adjust to other dogs and she can get jealous of them, so may do better in a home as the only dog. Ivy would prefer a home without small children, but would do fine with those 12+. Ivy has wonderful manners. She was mostly an outdoor dog, so may need some help adjusting to indoor living, but so far is doing very well.
