About Jacks

Make way - the most adorable, spunkiest little whippersnapper has arrived! Jacks is here! Jacks is a 6 year old petite Australian Kelpie mix who came to ACL as a stray. We had heard reports of a lost dog for over a week, and then finally, Jacks was captured by a Good Samaritan and brought to ACL! Jacks has been spending the past few weeks in foster care, and his foster mom says he's a real sweetie. We'll let her say it - 'Jacks is a cutie patootie and will be a great edition to any family with slightly older kids. He's been a joy to have! He really warms up once he gets to know you. He likes toys and will play fetch, but can get a little nippy when you're taking the toy back. He's very photogenic... if you can get him to sit still! He loves running outside, playing with toys, and going wherever my dog goes. He still needs basic obedience, but he comes when called. I've been working on 'sit' and it's hit or miss. Practice makes perfect! He likes to walk under things like desks and tables, and rubs up on chairs and shower curtains, like a cat. ' Overall, it sounds like Jacks will make a perfect addition to a home with other friendly dogs, kids 8 and up, and a home that has lots of fun and love to give! Come meet this handsome devil today!
