About Bowie

Say hello to Bowie!! Bowie is a two year old male Fun Sized German Shepherd Terrier mix. He weights in at only 30lbs and is looking for his forever home! He is housebroken and crate trained. So if you're looking for a smaller dog that's past the chewing and house training stage, then Bowie is your guy! He is kind of particular when it comes to his doggie friends, and although he gets along with some dogs our rescue feels it would be best to place him in a home without other pups. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and just ready for his forever home. Just like a typical terrier, Bowie is very smart. He knows how to use a doggie door. He goes to the door (if you don't have a doggie door) to let you know he has to go potty. He can play fetch with you for as long as you are willing to throw the ball. However, when you're tired of playing, he's perfectly happy to hang out and watch some T.V. with you or snuggle up with you in the couch. Due to his energy level we think that a home with older kids would be best for him! He is also not a fan of cats, so a single pet home would be great! He has been in foster care for over a year and is ready to find his forever family. He is currently located down South at our sister shelters and available for pre-adoption. We do transports to NJ once a month. He can't wait to find his forever home!
