About Acacia

Acacia is an 11 month old female Heeler / Terrier mix, about 50 pounds. Acacia wants to be your new snuggle buddy. This super sweet & chill girl is a joy to be around. She is low to medium energy, walks calmly on her leash and will even reach out her paws to help you put it on. She loves laying by your feet and relaxing. She knows when it's play time and when it's quiet time. When it's time to play, she bounces around happily with her toys and always draws a giggle with her silly antics. Acacia is responding well to her training and learns quickly! She would do best as an only dog as she likes to keep all the toys to herself. She is happy to be with her people as she is a very loving companion. You'll love coming home to this one and she'll always be happy to see you too! Adoption contract and fee applies. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. Notice: We do not ship dogs out of state. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.at the fosters home.
