About Bodie

Bodie is a wonderful companion. The only reason we are rehoming is because we have been unsuccessful at training him not to resource guard high value treats. This doesnt apply to normal feedings or hand feeding, only when he finds or steals something super yummy to him. So far he has only growled at people when he's guarding but he has pinned down two of my other dogs and was very aggressive with them. Outside of the guarding scenarios he was fine with both dogs. We keep him separated from our cats because he is too excited around them and scares them. I wouldn't recommend him sharing a home with cats just in case. He is very good with kids, strangers, and other dogs. He is an attention hog and wants lots of petting and love from everyone he sees.
