Max was born on March 10, 2018, one of 10 pups, fostered in Riverview, FL (Hillsborough County). His mother is a large mixed perhaps Catahoula x border collie who was rescued from a shelter while pregnant. The puppies were born in and have been raised in foster care. Max was the first one to open his eyes and watches everything. He has a sweet and calm disposition. If he takes after his mom, he will be up to 60-70 lbs. As an all black puppy he almost looks like a Labrador pup. He has a white blaze on his chest. He enjoys attention and being held. He loves to play with his littermates, often exploring on his own with one or another of the other pups. He seems to sit and figure out his next move before jumping into the fray. He has a fair amount of energy and will do well where he will get lots of exercise. Max is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventives, and microchipped. He will go home with a neuter contract - he will need to be neutered at 6 months of age, after which when proof is submitted to rescue, $50 of his adoption donation can be refunded.
