About Apollo

Meet Apollo, a 3 year old, male, purebred, German Shepherd, who is currently at the high kill Carson Shelter, simply because he did not get along with the previous owner's small dog. As a result, Apollo needs his new home to be cat and small dog free. However, he gets along great with dogs, at least his size, and people of all ages, including children. He is housetrained, and knows some basic commands. Apollo is also leash trained so he walks nicely on a leash. There is a rescue who is willing to save Apollo's life but they cannot do it without a foster (temporary home) and or adopter (permanent home). Fostering is free as the rescue provides all of the necessities while the dog is in foster care including paying for medical expenses, food and grooming.
