About Ray

4/23/18-S Ray is a male Pit and is 1 1/2 yrs old and weighs 47 lbs. He was presented for bite wounds and sweelling/lameness on the left front limb. Physical exam revealed many lacerations that appear to be bite wounds on his face and front limbs. The left front limb is severe swollen around the carpus/distal antebrachium. Radiographs were obtained and it was found that he has complete fracture through the distal ulna but the radius appears intact. Recommend starting him on Rimady (anti-inflammatory for pain), Clindamycin and Baytril (antibiotic) and recheck in 7 days. He should be kept on strict cage rest and walked on a leash when he goes outside. Will be available 4-28-18.
