About Maxwell

Maxwell is a Male, purebred, Saddle-back Isabella White Siberian Husky and is in need of a new home. His current owners have a few words they wish to share. 'Every time I think about re-homing Maxwell I get sick to my stomach, but I know it would be what is best for him. He is an amazing dog with the sweetest temperament... but he needs to go to a home that has time for him. Right now my kids only have interest in him when it is time for bed (to sleep with), and we both work full time, plus all 3 kids in sports, we are so busy & he just is not getting the attention or exercise he deserves. I would want him to go to a home where they allow him inside. He is inside all the time with us & sleeps with me or one of our kiddos. I also do not want anyone ever hitting him. These are my fears... he is so gentle I hate the idea of someone taking him on who has a firm hand. He LOVES to dig and it can be an issue if you prefer a perfect landscape...but it is a Siberian Husky trait. He loves other dogs & has never shown any aggression. He has never been around cats but when we pass them on the street he wants to chase them. I would love for him to go to a home with kids and other dogs - he loves our kids and is very gentle with my nieces and nephews who are 2-6 years old. He has been around puppies and he is super sweet to the point where he will get down to their level & allow them to crawl all over him. I just took him to the vet a couple weeks ago & got his second rabies and annual shots so he is up to date & he gets flea treatments monthly. He would come with a kennel, his food, treats & toys. I am seriously going to cry but I know he deserves more than we can give him. All I ask is that whoever he goes to loves him like their own baby.'
