About Kentaro

Hello everyone I'm Kentaro the 11 week old pomchi. I came to the rescue at 7 weeks old because my previous owners said I was aggressive I was food guarding and if I wasn't accepted at the rescue I'd be taken to the shelter to be put to sleep. After my rescuer talked to my previous owner she found out I was left alone in a cage for 10 hours a day 6 days a week I only ate once a day and when I had human contact it was with kids who didn't know how to handle puppies they were rough and often took my food away so I was always hungry and almost never received the proper amount of food I actually needed. Since coming to the rescue I've learned that a puppy my age gets to eat 3 times a day I get 24/7 socialization with People children and other animals and I have developed a very playful and spunky personality but my favorite thing of all is to be carried and held everywhere I hate being left alone and although I sleep in a crate with friends who also prefer a crate I do not like being locked up in a crate all day. My new family will have to understand puppies need time and love!
